Anne-marie ledoux

We are so happy to have Anne-Marie in our fold. Stepan and Cassandra know Anne-Marie since she has arrived to Margaret River and beside the many wines, meals and stories shared, her professional attributes and skills came in handy, on more than one occasion.

Originally from Quebec, Canada, Anne-Marie has explored the world extensively, traveling through Europe, the Americas, and Southeast Asia. In 2010, she chose the picturesque Margaret River region as her home, immersing herself in the renowned wine industry.

With a deep passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, Anne-Marie specializes in managing high-end clients and events, ensuring every interaction is memorable.

Her stellar career included a decade-long head-chef position in a 5* winery in Margaret River, leading Xanadu Wines to Top 50 in WA Good Food Guide from the guide’s initial season until 2020. She was the longest-serving head chef amongst all our region’s leading dining destinations.

Mel’s cooking for our hyper-seasonal, all-inclusive, travel experiences has evolved into a true showcase of agritourism and fully embraces the experiential journey our guests embark on. Every meal is curated in the context of all the days, the exact programming and reflects more than the seasonality. It is an interpretation of the farmers, producers and artisans we deal with.

Her craft is an integral part of the overall delivery, of our wine immersion and, mainly, of the guests’ desire to experience food as it is – near its source, without gimmicks or tricks, in a more meaningful way.
